Eleaf Tance Max Kit Review

The Eleaf Tance Max is unlike the average pod device. It is taller, wider, and thicker. This is an all-in-one manually-activated refillable system that is budget-friendly, stylish, and powerful all at once. The Tance Max is for vapers who want more control from a pod device.

You can purchase the Tance Max Kit within the price range of $30.92-$36.80 at the Eleaf World site. You can also select from an array of six color options for this device. There is the standard Black and White, then the more artistic finishes like Seablue, Trick, Geometry, and Seashell.

The Tance Max kit comes in a simple rectangular cardboard box. On it is a picture of the Tance Max device, a list of the contents as well as technical information, warnings, and the manufacturer’s contact information on the back. There is also an authenticity seal on the side of the box. The box contains the Tance Max device and one refillable 4ml pod. The pod comes with a preinstalled 0.6  ohm GS Air Mesh Coil Head. The accessories that come with the kit include one Type-C USB Cable, one Spare 1.6ohm GS Air Standard Coil Head, one User Manual, and small O-rings for the coil heads.

The Tance Max device looks a little too chubby for a pod system. But Eleaf had their reasons for this – it has a huge e-juice capacity and powerful battery capacity.

The Tance Max device measures 101mm x 31mm x 20mm, and it weighs about 87g. The weight gives the device a sturdy feel. The Tance Max has a stick-like design, which is similar to most pod systems. The chassis of the device is made of zinc-alloy with plastic side panels. The sides and bottom edges have a nice beveled chrome trim. While the device may not be able to stand upright at all, its shape allows it to fit comfortably in your hand, and your pocket as well.

On the front face of the device, there is a slightly elevated rectangular button with a line in its center. The button is the firing button. Five clicks power the device on an off, while only a single click is what you need when you want to take a draw. The line in the center of the button allows the LED indicator to shine through. The LED indicates when the device is charging or firing, and it also shows the battery level of the device. The LED indicator shows Green to indicate that the device’s battery is between 100%-60%, Blue for when the battery is between 59-20%, and Red when it is lower than 20%.

The Eleaf Tance Max comes a 1100mAh battery which is one of the reasons for its size. The 1100mAh battery can give you enough power to last a whole day depending on how frequent you vape. The battery can go from zero to full in an hour.

The refillable 4ml pod that comes with the Tance Max Kit is awesome. The pod is made of a semi-transparent plastic that allows you to see the current level of your e-juice. The mouthpiece is flattened on one side to fit your mouth comfortably. Under the pod is a threaded collar where the replaceable coils are inserted, and a leak-proof filling port. The fill port uses a rotary design, so you rotate the seal and fill the pod with e-juice. The fill port is wide enough to accommodate most bottle nozzles, although it may be too small for the large ones.

The device’s replaceable pods are an added advantage. The metallic base under the pod is the device’s adjustable airflow system is located. You can turn to allow or reduce the airflow thereby allowing you to tweak your vape settings till it is just right, so if you prefer a tight flavourful draw, this is where you do it. Both coils work very well with all kinds of e-liquids, regardless of the VG/PG ratio or nicotine concentration. The flavor output is pleasant, and the amount of vapor both coils produce is sufficient. Overall, the Eleaf Tance Max is an impressive device.
